Awareness, by and of itself, can be curative.

Fritz Perls

Therapy that meets you
where you actually are.

Whatever has brought you here, whether a recent loss, a long-held pattern, a relationship that's hurting, or a quiet sense of being stuck, you don't have to make sense of it on your own.

My work is rooted in gestalt psychotherapy: a warm, relational approach that pays close attention to what's happening in the present moment: in your body, emotionally, and between us in the room. I work with the whole of you. The aim isn't to fix, but to support you in becoming more aware, building resources and finding your own way forward.

Some of what brings people
through the door.

01

Anxiety & overwhelm

The racing thoughts, the body that won't settle, the sense of always being braced for something.

02

Grief & loss

Bereavement, the end of a relationship, or the quieter losses: a role, a future, a part of yourself.

03

Relationship difficulties

Patterns that keep repeating, intimacy that feels out of reach, or conflict you don't know how to hold.

04

Low mood & depression

The flatness, the loss of meaning, the heaviness that's hard to name from inside it.

05

Trauma & childhood experiences

Including specialist experience supporting survivors of childhood sexual abuse and trauma, and the lasting weight of adverse childhood experiences.

06

Chronic pain & illness

Migraines, fibromyalgia, IBS, chronic fatigue and other persistent conditions, worked with through pain reprocessing therapy.

Relational, body-aware,
and gently curious.

Gestalt therapy is built on a simple but radical idea: the whole of you matters: your thoughts, your feelings, your body, your history, and the contact you make with the world. Symptoms are seen not as faults to be removed, but as meaningful responses to a life.

In practice, this means we work together with what's alive between us: what you notice, what you avoid, what feels stuck, what wants to move. I'll bring warmth, honesty, and steady attention. You bring whatever you arrive with. There's nothing to prepare.

Alongside psychotherapy, I'm a certified Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT) coach, working with chronic pain and long-term conditions. Emotional and physical discomfort often co-exist, and sometimes the work needs a dual approach.
